Successful Walden Event in Menlo Park
TTI alumna, Walden visiting artist, and now Walden parent Teresa McCollough hosted a fundraising event at her beautiful home in Menlo Park, California on Sunday, April 27. Alumni, parents, donors and friends gathered to learn more about Walden, hear a musical program and enjoy a summery day with friends. Below are some photos from the party.

You did it!
This spring, two anonymous donors offered up $5,000 each if we could raise $5,000 from our community (that's a 2:1 match!). One of the donors even promised to give an additional $35 for each gift from a new donor. We have met and passed our $5,000 goal, but new donors have stepped forward to make sure all gifts continue to be matched as promised.
You turned out in record numbers to make gifts of all sizes. Thank you so much for your support of Walden.

Good Question!
Go to the Alumni Forum and add your thoughts to
JCC alumna Alison Schell Witte's intriguing posting:
"I am curious about how you would respond to this question: What is
happening to you when you listen to music? Do you intellectually
analyze the parts and the harmony? Or is it an emotional experience? Or
perhaps a sensory experience? Do you feel separate from the music, or
connected?"
Have some music files you'd like to share? Scores? Ideas?
Have any concerts coming up?
