PRISM presents new music by guys named Dave, including world
premieres by David Biedenbender, David Laganella, David Little, David Ludwig,
and the New York/Philadelphia premiere of "Revolutionary Etudes" by Pulitzer
Prize winner David Lang. The concert also features the world premiere of a
freshly minted work by "Davey” Rainero-de Haan, winner of the 2010 PRISM/Walden
School Student Commissioning Award. The PRISM Quartet has been associated with The Walden School for more than
twenty years, has been in residence during three different summers, and
annually co-commissions, along with the School, a Walden Young Musicians
Program student to write a piece which is premiered during PRISM's annual
concert season in both Philadelphia and New York City.

This concert includes the world premier of a work of this year's Walden commissionee, Ilana Rainero-de Haan.
